McKendree University, a proud member of the Great Lakes Valley Conference is accepting applications for an Assistant / Associate Director of Athletics for Compliance at its Lebanon, IL campus.
Under the direction of the Director of Athletics, this position will be in charge of all facets of compliance to include the following:
• Manage and oversee all components relative to compliance for the Department of Athletics under the guidelines of the institution, GLVC, and NCAA. • Provide interpretations to coaches, staff, student-athletes, and representatives of athletics interest.
• Conduct an ongoing rules education program for athletics staff, coaches, and others associated with the athletics program.
• Assist in investigations and processing rule violations.
• Track student-athlete’s academic success, progress towards degree, and eligibility status.
• Process financial aid agreement requests and monitor the
National Letter of Intent program.
• Maintain CAi software.
• Serve as a member of the Compliance Committee.
• Complete the Academic Tracking System Report.
This position will also assist the Director of Athletics in the development of the departmental budget, will serve as the advisor to the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), and have sport supervision over select sport programs.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred. Preferred experience in NCAA compliance.
