Texas Tech University is seeking qualified applicants to serve as the Senior Associate Athletics Director for Academic Services in the Texas Tech University Athletics Department. The Senior Associate Athletics Director for Academic Services is responsible for ensuring student-athletic academic success, retention, and graduation. This position reports to Kirby Hocutt, Texas Tech University’s Athletic Director, and serves as a member of the Athletic Director’s Executive Staff.
Leadership Competencies
The Senior Associate Athletics Director is expected to be a leader who maintains an understanding of current national issues facing NCAA member institutions and anticipates change with the purpose of enhancing the academic growth of students and reinforcing the student-centered learning environment through progressive, focused, and innovative programs.
The Senior Associate Athletics Director is expected to have successful managerial experience with the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities based on analytics and an understanding of the organizational culture.
