At Baylor, we are known for our championship level athletics teams. We are looking for a leader to provide oversight and management in the areas of fan engagement, media relations, community relations, and corporate sponsorships. The Associate Athletics Director for Engagement directs decisions on marketing and fan experience, fundraising, ticketing, branding & communication initiatives.
This position also contributes in the following areas:
• Oversight of game day operations including pre-event and in-game promotional activities
• Serve as a member of the Athletics external relations executive team
• Develop internal and external strategic communications plans
• Represent Baylor as a key spokesperson for Athletics in handling media representative inquiries
• Be willing and able to work evening and weekends as needed
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree, five years of relevant work experience, and a Christian faith are required. A Master's Degree and seven years of relevant work experience are preferred.
