To provide business support in all fiscal matters pertaining to budgetary control, accounting policies and procedures, financial analysis, billing, projections and special projects for the Athletic department. This includes overseeing department purchasing activities, merchandising operations, ticket management, insurance claims processing and reconciliation of all departmental accounts.
Bachelor's Degree in business administration with emphasis in accounting or a directly related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Perform all job duties in a manner consistent with NCAA conference and University rules, regulations, ordinances, policies, procedures and guidelines. A minimum of three year experience in accounting, budget preparation, analysis and forecasting. Strong written and oral communication skills. Considerable knowledge of accounting procedures and techniques as well as personal computer software and its application to the accounting and budget process.
Desired Qualificaitons: Master's Degree, IT, Supervisory experience a plus.
THis is a full time position with some evenings and weekend hours required.
