Description
Promotes and sells media and sponsorships to Major National Accounts in all Life Time Fitness media and athletic event formats, resulting in growth in revenue across all platforms. Uphold the fulfillment of Life Time Fitness’ Mission Statement.
Examples of Work Performed:
• Promotes and sells Athletic Events advertising and sponsorship products through direct brand contacts and media agencies
• Communicates to customers how specific types of advertising and sponsorships will help promote their products or services in the most effective way possible
• Locates and contacts potential clients in order to offer advertising, media and content services
• Works with the Partnership Marketing Team to prepare and deliver sales presentations to new and existing customers in order to sell new advertising and sponsorship programs, as well as, to protect and increase existing media and event programs
• Establishes relationships with advertising decision makers for major brands
• Maintains relationships and favorable contacts with current and potential advertising accounts
• Follows up on status and results of existing programs
• Develops marketing strategies based on clients needs
• Maintains assigned account list while developing new accounts via Salesforce
• Compiles information on competitive products
• Works with internal production departments to ensure the client’s objectives are being met
• Manages client relationships on an on-going basis
• Reports calls and sales activity to Vice President – Integrated Media & Athletic Events Sponsorships
Qualifications
Education:
Four-year college degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising or related field
Experience:
Eight years or more media and/or sponsorship sales experience preferred
Five years minimum sales experience
Licenses / Certifications / Registration:
None required
