The job duties of the Assistant Athletic Director include analyzing administrative issues of the athletic department as they come up on a routine basis. The Assistant Athletic Director will participate in the hiring, evaluation and supervision of personnel. Other duties include managing business relationships, processes, working with budgets, managing and promoting athletic events, game management, coordinating athletic facilities, developing schedules, recruiting student athletes, strategic planning, project management and representing the athletic department at various events. Assist in the areas of sports information, The assistant athletic director will also be responsible for fundraising. Assist in electronic social media and technology to promote and publicize Buster Athletics.
Assistant Athletic Director also participates in creating, written plans and procedures for the athletic department. They will assist in reviewing corporate partnerships for the athletic department, manage branding and distributing information to vendors, corporations, and various media. Other job duties may include overseeing athletic facilities. Assistant Athletic Director will be involved with long range planning, scheduling athletic events and practice. A strong focus on compliance and eligibility to ensure compliance at the college, conference, region, and national level. Assistant Athletic Director will handle special projects as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
