Position Description
Directs end-to-end supply chain consulting and decision support services by leveraging analytical tools and various lean manufacturing and six sigma
approaches to consistently and proactively deliver supply chain solutions; transforming inbound-centric analyses to end-to-end optimization, including
robust activity based costing (ABC) methodology; overseeing the execution of optimal supply and distribution plans and ensuring plans are aligned
and communicated with all stakeholders (for example, Finance, Transportation, Distribution Center Operations, Store Operations, Replenishment,
Merchandising); ensuring projects meet their intended outcomes within specified time frame while maintaining quality standards; driving the migration
to a supply chain optimization network to provide accurate, integrated, accessible, and faster solutions; optimizing and maintaining current business
while enabling future supply chain decisions across multiple functional teams; and developing escalation processes for key supply chain optimization
processes.
Ensures cross-functional collaboration which enables holistic buying decisions while leveraging supply chain scale to influence and reduce overall
cost of goods by partnering with Store Operations, Merchandising, Replenishment, and other supply chain functions to build influence; educating
stakeholders on store, merchandising, and supply chain operational principals to establish understanding and appreciation for service needs;
influencing stakeholders to adopt correct processes and communication channels to enable proper planning by all stakeholders; and leveraging the
supply chain optimization tool suite to proactively provide supply chain consulting services and solutions.
Oversees the design, development, and delivery of digitally-enabled supply chain solutions by directing the analysis of historical, current, and future
supply chain optimization initiatives (for example, supplier efficiency, channel, replenishment, network planning) to deliver improved end-to-end
solutions; aligning and driving business results and supply chain key performance indicators (for example, distribution center handling cost, store
handling cost, improvement in network utilization, total cost to serve analysis); aggregating supply chain optimization solutions and benefit
opportunities to realize savings based on the needs of the business; embedding analytics into the modular planning process to enable self-service
opportunities; partnering with Walmart Technology and analytics teams; developing tracking processes to review financial benefits; and using
modeling solutions to identity new projects and initiatives and lead the formation of supply chain financial plans.
Drives continuous improvement efforts by championing innovation to digitize current solutions and methodologies with input from key stakeholders;
overseeing the correction of errors processes and feedback loops to identify areas of opportunity and continuously improve service levels; supporting
the use of end-to-end costing methodology and lean concepts (for example, activity based costing (ABC), value stream mapping) to reduce process
waste, focus on priorities, and provide accurate cost recommendations; and reviewing and analyzing internal processes to highlight opportunities for
cost reductions and process efficiencies.
Provides overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs; developing, communicating, building support for, and implementing
business strategies, plans, and practices; analyzing costs and forecasts and incorporating them into business plans; determining and supporting
resource requirements; evaluating operational processes; measuring outcomes to ensure desired results; identifying and capitalizing on improvement
opportunities; promoting a customer environment; and demonstrating adaptability and sponsoring continuous learning.

Minimum Qualifications
2 years supervisory experience.
3 years experience with advanced functionality of Microsoft Office.
Bachelor s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field and 5 years experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area OR 7 years experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
4 years fleet management, dispatch, or network analysis experience.
5 years experience in retail logistics operations.
Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
Project Management certification.
Six Sigma certification.
Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
6 years’ experience with data analytics, trend analysis, value stream mapping, or related performance tracking function.
6 years’ experience in end to end supply chain management
