Summary
The Regional Vice President (RVP) is based out of the Northeast in Boston, MA area. This role will lead and guide the overall store operations and profits for a region of stores (between 80-130 stores). Reporting to the SVP of Store Operations, the ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience in a similar operational position with extensive time spent as a district manager and store manager. Preferably, the right candidate will also have 1-2 years in a corporate setting. The position requires extensive travel – up to 70% of the time and will be headquartered in a strategic location within the region as determined by the SVP of Store Operations. The RVP relies on extensive experience, judgment and creativity to accomplish their goals; to execute the strategy for their region; and to ensure the culture of the organization is being demonstrated in all areas of responsibility. With between 6-8 direct reports, (District Team Leaders - DTL), the RVP must be able to direct and lead the work of others, build relationships, and to influence their partners in the Store Support Center (SSC) to achieve the overall company strategy. To be successful in this role, in addition to the above requirements and the competencies noted below, the RVP will ensure the Five Global Priorities are implemented throughout the region.

Scope
• Remain Operationally Sound: Ensure that store standards are maintained, controls are in place to prevent shrink and loss, and that payroll is managed according to plan. Ensure that all reports are being utilized for business planning.
• Improve Service Model: Ensure all districts and stores are customer-centric. This can be validated by all customers being greeted and engaged by Team Members throughout the store.
• Instill a Sales Culture: Find creative ways to increase traffic, average ticket, and items per transaction while using the F.A.S.T. model to drive incremental sales.
• Inspire the Customer: Ensure stores execute POGs, layouts, BAM, etc. to company standards. Ensure stores inspire our customers and create an environment leading to increased sales.
• Know Your People / Build Successors: Provide leadership to DTLs to ensure effective succession planning takes place, training has been conducted, open positions have been filled timely, etc. in the stores within the region. Assess quality & consistency of DTLs - reward top performers, manage those that are not. Partner with the SVP of Store Operations to remove obstacles that prevent DTL success.
