Position Description:
POSITION PURPOSE
Responsible for developing creative strategies for all Home Depot digital assets and platforms. Leading a team of design professionals, the Creative Director will direct all creative aspects of the online store front. A key objective of this role is to steward the Home Depot brand and define brand standards for all online formats. Through collaboration with enterprise partners in marketing, merchandising and product management, the creative director will design solutions that meet brand standards and established business objectives.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Create solutions across all online platforms including homedepot.com and microsites. Provide visual direction to the creative team to develop cross channel campaigns
• Work closely with merchandising, marketing, and product management to identify and execute initiatives and projects that enhance the usability and profitability of the brand and its products
• Drive strategic & creative direction for online content
• Manage creative resources efficiently in a fast-paced, demanding creative environment
NATURE AND SCOPE
Position reports to Sr Dir, Customer Experience
Accountable for the management of a department or functional group through subordinate supervisors/managers and for all personnel issues -- including selection, termination, performance appraisal and professional development of subordinates.
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
ENVIRONMENT:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
TRAVEL:
Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
YEARS OF WORK EXPERIENCE:10 years
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

• Extensive Online Design Experience
• Online Retail Experience
• Creative & Marketing Experience
• Creative Management & Leadership Experience
• Promotional email content creation and distribution
• Test and control analytical methodologies
• Development and execution of paid search campaigns
• Detailed knowledge and understanding of organic search/SEO content creation and optimization
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES:
• Excellent strategic thinking & planning
• Skill leading the execution & design procedure, working with both external & internal development teams
• Solid financial acumen & business planning experience
• Multi-Discipline Experience
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and schedule demands. Ability to delegate effectively
• Strong collaboration skills. Proven ability to get things accomplished through cross functional teams
