Position Description
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Director II to partner with the business, grow high caliber teams, and build capability development in Supply Chain planning & Analytics. The successful candidate will join a dynamic group of Leaders developing breakthrough capabilities in retail, creating new scientific approaches, and innovating solutions using state-of-the-art technology – at Walmart scale.
The team creates value for Walmart customers through researching and building complex, cutting edge, and scalable algorithms, models, platforms, and technologies. Our team of high caliber engineers, scientists, mathematicians, and statisticians develop rigorous quantitative methods to build efficient and effective algorithms that optimize decisions.
• Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics
• Develops and champions transformational and innovative change for multiple integrated strategies across the business
• Develops and drives strategies to support long-term vision for global business processes best practices identification
• Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce
• Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals
• Leads a global community of thought leaders to explore innovative ideas to feed into future strategies, plans and roadmaps; aligning, engaging, leading and influencing major markets towards inventing and adopting global and common processes and providing new business capabilities not yet mastered in our lead markets.

Minimum Qualifications
6 years of supervisory experience.
Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Art and 6 years' data analytics experience OR 10 years' data analytics experience.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
10 years experience leading Wal-Mart project teams to solve problems in engineering, information systems, distribution, logistics, replenishment, HR, store operations, supply chain, transportation division, or customer service area.
5 years experience conducting resource planning.
7 years experience developing operations strategy and overseeing project implementations.
7 years experience leading cross functional teams.
7 years experience presenting strategic concepts to and gaining approval from executive leadership.
Master's degree in business, science, engineering, technology, organizational management or related field.
