Responsibilities
As an employee of Coborn's, Inc., the Assistant Store Director II will be responsible for assisting the Store Director In directing and managing store operations. Duties include coordinating and directing the overall operations of the store in the absence of the Store Manager. Typically responsible for ordering, inventory control, shelf maintenance, proper receiving, proper product rotation, and planning and implementing merchandising plans, pricing, freshness, housekeeping, sanitation and safety, and maintaining building equipment. Maintaining store standards and meeting all company expectations. Responsible for directing staff to include: directing workload, counseling, training, performance evaluations and supervision.
Qualifications
The Assistant Store Director II position requires an Associate's Degree, or six months to one year related experience, preferably in a retail/grocery environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Three to six months previous supervisory experience is preferred. This position requires the need to provide exceptional customer service by treating all customers and co-workers with dignity and respect. Must be self-motivated, energetic and customer service oriented.
