Position Description:
POSITION PURPOSE
The Director of Sales and Service responsible for developing strategies and action plans to deliver on revenue and market share goals for assigned stores. Accountable for metrics such as sales, inventory turns, merchandising, promotions, and program growth and specific regional budgets.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
25%-Responsible for driving the quality, accuracy, speed, and consistency of merchandising service and projects in partnership with Merchandising Execution Team, Operational, and Corporate partners. Review weekly reporting, research anomalies and addresses issues impacting the business. Responsible for Financial performance.
25%-Provide support in the resolution of product and merchandising issues and partner with Sr. Director Merchandising Execution on the resolution of service related issues. Work with Crown Bolt Sales Directors to drive sales, grow current business and support additional program growth.
15%-Work with Field District Merchandising Managers and Regional and District partners to drive sales and support with the field. Actively seeks customer feedback promptly relays feedback to Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, and Product Development organizations.
15%-Collaborates with Sales Directors in identifying growth opportunities, market trends, monitoring consumer trends, competitive activity, and developing strategies and tactics accordingly. Builds strategic relationships with key partners in the field and with cross functional departments that are internal and external.
10%-Function as the �Voice of the Customer� providing a feedback loop to the Crown Bolt leadership team and functional partners to drive continuous improvement in the customer experience and offering.
10%-Lead, develop, and effectively delegate/empower the Regional Sales Service Manager team to deliver on sales, profit, and turns goals. Develop and drive Regional Priorities to meet Crown Bolt and Home Depot sales and profitability growth.

This position has 10-12 Direct Reports
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Environment:
Usually in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort from such things as dust, fumes or odors.
Travel:
Typically requires overnight travel more than 50% of the time.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
Years of Relevant Work Experience:7 years
Physical Requirements:
Must continuously stand or walk or regularly requires lifting/handling/carrying material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds).
Additional Qualifications:
Proven management skills of leading people. Sales and Service experience that shows profitable growth for an organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting multiple units across a wide geography, preferably in a large format retailer. Vendor relations knowledge and experience. Experience in merchandising or buying roles in a retail organization.
