Position Summary
Mobile is a foundational component of our strategy and will be a key component for this transformation. It will be the job of the Director, Front Store Mobile Product Management to maintain and build upon this success and drive a truly innovative and differentiated front store and ExtraCare mobile experience for CVS/pharmacy customers. This is a critical role and the opportunity to be a key member of the mobile leadership team within CVS/pharmacy.
The Director, Front Store Mobile Product Management drives the mobile product strategy and management for ExtraCare, Shop and will also be accountable for driving omnichannel digital initiatives that create world class in-store digital experiences. These capabilities are core pillars of the Enterprise Digital Strategic initiatives and will required broad cross functional collaboration and integration to be successful. Additionally, this leader must work with many teams and leaders to gain buy-in and approval as these capabilities will have heavy operational dependencies and cannot be developed in a silo. This leader will drive the definition, development, and deployment of new front store, Extra Care and other mobile capabilities that substantially enhance the consumer experience and address CVS/pharmacy’s strategic and financial objectives. Partner closely with key stakeholders across the business and IT to define the product vision, strategy, and supporting metrics required to deliver and to ensure timely and accurate implementations that result in a best-in-class mobile experience. Define and build the retail front store mobile product roadmap that maximizes experience and drives repeat utilization. Work closely with engineering, UX, front strategy, Extracare, store ops, merchandising, legal, marketing, customer service, PR, and executive teams to bring new mobile products to market, develop and grow business opportunities. Collaborate with technical, creative and business stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate product
• Drive the execution of the front store and Extracare business plan for mobile multi-channel strategies by identifying customer and operational needs, participating in cross-functional activities, developing and managing metrics to track progress, and constantly identify opportunities to improve performance Partner with key stakeholders to define the front store mobile vision, strategy, roadmap and supporting metrics required to deliver and enhance a best in class mobile device customer
• Drive the execution of the front store and Extracare business plan for mobile multi-channel strategies by identifying customer and operational needs, participating in cross-functional activities, developing and managing metrics to track progress, and constantly identify opportunities to improve performance Partner with key stakeholders to define the front store mobile vision, strategy, roadmap and supporting metrics required to deliver and enhance a best in class mobile device customer Market research, creating business plans, writing product or service specifications, creating value propositions and marketing materials, informing retail field audiences, and delivering presentations to senior executives and external audiences.
• Requires cross-group coordination across the enterprise, ability to lead teams, excellent written and communication skills, and the ability to drive collaborative discussions and decisions with all key stakeholders.
• Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management and make tradeoffs, balance the business needs versus technical and operational constraints; and encourage risk-taking behavior to maximize business benefits.
Required Qualifications
2 years of mobile experience to include mobile product management and delivery.
5 years of experience within a Digital environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Digital strategy / innovation experience within a health care company.
Strengths in structured and logical thinking, problem solving, issue resolution, and attention to detail.
Deep understanding of consumer behavior combined with creativity and nimbleness to deal with complexity and to quickly identify potential solutions and sources of value.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including the ability think product design and features to strategic objectives and use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions.
Education
Bachelors degree required. Masters degree preferred.
