Position Description
Directs Health Wellness operational projects involving system changes by determining which initiatives become store rollouts; partnering with and
advising senior leadership of Walmart Health and Wellness and other business partners from functional areas across the organization (for example,
Health & Wellness Innovations team, Compliance, Regulatory Affairs); assessing the impact of the project or system change; and canceling programs
that will negatively impact the field.
Drives the development of the strategic vision and execution for meetings, Health and Wellness store events, and initiatives by driving the
development of strategic themes; partnering with senior leaders from various functional areas to identify business objectives; and establishing
common points of focus for messages.
Analyzes cross-functional processes to provide tactical and strategic solutions to maximize results of Pharmacy operations by evaluating current
systems and processes; developing, testing, and implementing new processes, procedures, and systems; ensuring capacity needs are met; building
action plans to improve store performances; and modifying existing practices.
Develops and drives strategy for the Health and Wellness Operations, Communications, and Process Improvements by leading implementation of
activities across the organization; eliminating barriers; planning activities across the organization; meeting milestones for business changes and
oversight of systems development; driving integration strategy for Walmart Stores Health and Wellness support functions; gaining approval from
l eaders; budgeting resources; and executing corporate initiatives.
Provides overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs; developing, communicating, building support for, and implementing
business strategies, plans, and practices; analyzing costs and forecasts and incorporating them into business plans; determining and supporting
resource requirements; evaluating operational processes; measuring outcomes to ensure desired results; identifying and capitalizing on improvement
opportunities; promoting a customer environment; and demonstrating adaptability and sponsoring continuous learning.
Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce by diagnosing capability gaps; recruiting,
selecting, and developing talent; supporting mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning; and leveraging the capabilities of new and
existing talent.
Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics by integrating these values into all
programs and practices; developing consequences for violations or non-compliance; and supporting the Open Door Policy.
Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals by sponsoring and leading

Additional Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare, Systems or related field and 6 years experience in Healthcare or related field OR 8 years
experience in healthcare operations or related field.
5 years of multi-unit supervisory experience.
Master's degree in Business Administration, Nursing, Health Care Administration, or Public Health.
Doctorate of Medicine, Doctorate of Pharmacy, or Doctorate of Optometry.
10 years of health care operations experience.
