Job Description
SUMMARY
The primary purpose of this position is to manage the quantity and placement of all pharmacy hardware and technology existing in the retail stores. This position also includes training of field associates on the use and enhancement of our automated equipment. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in observance of Rite Aid’s brand and strategy and adhere to our core values and service attributes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:
• Provide support of the Automation Devices, Store Labeling and Store Support related to Pharmacy Technology Initiatives
• Coordinate with automation providers to ensure that Rite Aid receives maximum value from the products.
• Work with Field Associates and Field Support to train, support and enhance the usage of automated products to improve overall store efficiency.
• Support RxOps Technology as an additional resource for field systems support with issues such as labeling, automation labeling, store set-up, and plan store set-up to help direct the efficient organization of stores.
• Extract and evaluate system data to help maximize the use of automation products.
• Evaluate test data relating to inventory usage, comparing automated and non-automated stores, in order to help Rite Aid use inventory dollars effectively.
Experience / Requirements
Two (2) years' of experience in Retail/Hospital Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Automation required.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Business preferred.
