Overview
The Training Compliance Coordinator will work across departments (including Training, HR, Operations, Safety, and Loss Prevention) to identify gaps in training compliance, then provide courteous but direct communication with relevant Managers to drive completions on training and close those gaps. Of particular importance, the Training Compliance Coordinator will focus on completion of Food Safety, SNAP, Forklift, and Beer/Wine training documentation, and work to ensure 100% compliance on these training systems throughout the company. In the case of Food Safety and Beer/Wine trainings, the Training Compliance Coordinator will work with Operations and Safety to become familiar with state and local requirements for training at specific store locations, and will also be certified to provide in-person training on these subjects when needed.
Responsibilities
• Audit training completion of the following training systems on a weekly basis:
a. Food Safety
1. SNAP
2. Forklift
3. Beer/Wine Training
4. Any other trainings, as assigned
• Monitoring regional past-due reports and communicating with Store Managers and Regional Managers to drive completion on trainings which are beyond their assigned due date.
• Gaining an understanding of all state/local Food and Beer/Wine training requirements, and monitoring our training systems to ensure we are complying with all requirements.
• Monitoring reports from HRIS to identify missing certifications within targeted employee groups
• Becoming certified to teach Food Safety and Beer/Wine instruction within a classroom setting, when needed.
• Assist with LMS troubleshooting and completing support ticket requests
• On occasion building small, compliance-related training PowerPoints for use in our LMS
• Create short training documents/job aids to assist in developing compliance at our stores
• Other projects or tasks as assigned

Qualifications
Education, Skills & Experience:
• Excellent communication skills are critical – must be able to efficiently create courteous but targeted emails to Managers of employees who are out of compliance.
• Must be detail-oriented, organized, have strong analytical skills, and enjoy problem solving
• Experience providing structured in-person training strongly preferred
• Must be highly motivated, work independently, solve problems independently, manage multiple priorities and deadlines, and be willing to collaborate as a key member of the training team
• Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
• Experience working in Natural Grocers stores preferred, but not required
• Must have strong keyboarding skills and have high-level skills working with Microsoft Office (particularly Outlook, Word, Excel)
