Position Summary
The Pharmacy Operations Mail and Specialty Systems Strategy - Director will be joining our Specialty and Mail Systems Strategy team and will be responsible for overseeing the operational impacts for a segment of the Systems Strategy portfolio related to defining, executing and managing a road map of new products and projects for our Specialty/Mail pharmacy centers nationally.
The Director will be closely involved in execution planning - including capital and portfolio management, problem identification, solution definition and refinement, and measurement and tracking of outcomes. Support senior business leaders to achieve assigned revenue, profitability, operational and sales objectives. Analyze current trends and forecast future operational efficiencies for the Specialty/Mail teams, consulting with senior leaders on recommended changes and improvements. Monitor key performance indicators to ensure desired interim progress and final outcomes are achieved. Assist with the operations impact of the projects from inception to implementation, ensuring system enhancements, process flow changes, communications, controls and reporting is coordinated and completed as required. Additionally, the Director will be strategically focused on identification of specific incremental tactics to drive solutions to meet Operational goals as well as further set the strategic systems road map for success against long-term objectives.
Additional details:
Oversee day-to-day operation aspects of assigned digital projects of any complexity to ensure each project is on-time within budget with a high level of quality while delivering all key milestones and financial deliverables
Oversee the development of operational timelines and use cases for the project team members, effectively prioritizing the tasks
Communicate and resolve project operational issues on all assigned projects of any complexity, using appropriate change control, escalation and risk mitigation
Strategic road map, portfolio management, aligning resources to critical objectives
On projects of any complexity, provide leadership updates to a level of understanding to successfully achieve stated project objectives, overcoming resistance to change and gaining willing participation from the operations team
Collaborate with other operational partners to align on goals and objectives of projects/products
Team building, coaching, investment in resources
Required Qualifications
8 or more years of Specialty/Mail pharmacy operations experience demonstrated by a proven track record of success in pharmacy operations, including experience leading teams and implementing new projects or enhancing work flow
Analytical thought needed to resolve issues in a variety of complex situations, without supervision. Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and use effective judgement in prioritization and time allocation. Ability to engage partners/consumers internally and externally to drive adoption and influence stakeholders across all locations and at all levels to deliver on objectives and goals. Ability to define solutions to that align to our overall goals as well as solve industry needs. Ability to coordinate with various senior leaders across organizational/divisional boundaries
Ability to travel up to 25 % of the time.

PBM experience.
Education
Bachelors Degree.
