Overview
Perform IT Vendor Management Functions including but not limited to Contract Management, Vendor Performance Management & Relationship Management. Additionally, Execute 7-Eleven IT Asset Management program with an emphasis on Software Asset Management.
Responsibilities
• Execute Contract Management functions: contract review, initiating contract signature workflow, verifying master agreement compliance (terms, conditions, rates) & pricing is optimized.
• Proactively plan and execute contract end of life activities in collaboration with Procurement.
• Execute Vendor Performance Management functions including collecting, reviewing and coordinating the validation of vendor performance metrics.
• Tracking performance, collecting of SLA penalities & escalating performance problems as needed.
• Collect qualitative metrics via surveys and track trends.
• Identify opportunities for vendor performance improvement and engage stakeholders to take corrective action while tracking improvements.
• Vendor Audits.
• Partner with Procurement and Legal to develop standards SLAs.
• Execute Vendor Relationship Management functions including relationship management, vendor categorization and corresponding action plans, 360 degree view of vendor relationship.
• Track & mediate escalations.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholder and vendors in order to fully understand the business and drive for improved vendor performance.
• Build and execute the Software Asset Management Program at 7-Eleven.
• Support Apptio program by working closely with Technology teams to understand business needs and requirements and assist in the development of new capabilities and data visibility.
Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelors/4 Yr Degree
Experience:
• 5+ years of experience.
• Contract Management, IT Vendor Management, Software Asset Management.
• Contract redlining; facilitating internal stakeholder reviews especially legal and procurement.
• Negotiating terms, pricing. Contract EOL management.
• Strong analytical & comparative analysis skills, especially pricing & contractual terms/conditions.
• Strong Word/Excel skills mandatory.
• Experience running a software asset management program a major plus.
• Experience executing vendor performance management, vendor 360 reviews also a major plus.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills required; Effectively interact & influence internal & external stakeholders at all levels, include individuals for whom English is a 2nd lang.
• Proficiency with Oracle EBS Purchasing & AP, MS-Access, DocuSign & PowerBI skills very desirable.
• Working knowledge or better for Apptio, ServiceNow, Flexera, Zylo & Ariba a major plus.
