Responsibilities
Leadership Development & Performance Management:
• Partners with Distribution leadership to increase bench strength through coaching and development of internal candidates
• Develops and oversees leadership development for high performing individuals
• Plans and coordinates training efforts for managers and supervisors through workshops, team building, and other development solutions focused on effective employee management, retention, recognition and development
• Partners with Distribution management on employee performance reviews, individual development plans, attendance performance and policy violation coaching and documentation training
Training:
• Leads and evolves existing training programs, curriculum development, content delivery and related training materials ensuring quality, efficiency and consistency of Distribution operations
• Partners with Distribution Center leadership at each facility to identify employee needs and opportunities for addressing them through training content, programs and other appropriate solutions
• Sets strategy for developing content for Learning Management System to track, deliver and analyze employee training
Recruiting:
• Oversees and guides process to attract and recruit talent for multiple Distribution Centers
• Coordinates with labor planning to develop hiring plans for multiple Distribution Centers, including contract labor, part-time flexible workforce and full-time employees
• Partners with Corporate Recruiting Team to ensure idea sharing and effective and consistent recruiting processes
Coaching & Team Management:
• Manages DC Training and Recruiting Teams
• Provides leadership, vision, open communication and development to team members, ensuring an employee-first focus

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; advanced education in training and development or HR a plus
• 7-10 years Training, Recruiting and/or Learning and Development experience; three or more years in a distribution environment
• Experience and understanding of Learning Management Software
• Track record designing and executing successful training programs
• Based in Dallas/Ft. Worth area
• Strong computer skills: proficiency in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher and knowledge of Excel
• Strong presentation ability
• Experience managing others including career development, directing and evaluating work
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as strong project management, leadership and team building abilities.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, at all levels within and outside the organization
• Ability to quickly separate the mission-critical tasks from the lower priority tasks; focuses on the most value-added projects of the day or week
• Flexible, with a positive attitude and passion for knowledge
• Makes strategic and effective decisions in the best interest of our customers and our company, taking care to objectively process information
