Position Description
Vudu, Walmart’s digital movie service, is seeking an experienced marketing professional with a track record of building world-class campaigns to join our growing team. This role will own day-to-day responsibilities for leading the launch campaigns for upcoming original/exclusively licensed movies and series across a diverse range of content. You will be the central cross-functional liaison for select content among internal teams (Marketing, Publicity, Product and Social) with a focus on handling workflow and driving integrated communication plans.
You will be a key point of contact for show runners and creators, working closely with them to collaborate on and communicate different facets of the campaign throughout the lifecycle of the show. Ideally, you've been responsible for marketing high profile entertainment properties and are able to craft a clear and distinctive show positioning and creative strategy that cross-functional teams can execute on. You know how to tell stories, on any platform, which drive fan engagement. A natural leader, you can listen and collaborate with internal departments/teams to align early on overall strategy and goals. Your love for television, film, and pop culture, and ability to thrive in a quick moving environment make you an excellent teammate.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop integrated campaigns that drive buzz and viewership for programming
• Work in partnership with creative team to ensure materials are aligned with the show positioning and Vudu brand
• Create strategies to sustain awareness and viewership following launch
• Develop multi-media extensions that extend the show across social and other channels
• Oversee and figure out scope, budget, and campaign resources
• Develop creative briefs, show positioning and strategy materials for multiple shows
• Partner with the media team to develop brand and performance driven media plans that effectively promote the shows
• Establish meaningful metrics for campaigns and analyze effectiveness of media to optimize spend across channels
• Socialize campaign strategy and creative, and implement feedback from cross-functional partners
• Align with product and design teams on requirements that enrich the viewing experience
• Drive cross-functional team planning across campaigns
• Develop and deliver campaign recaps and updates

Minimum Qualifications
• 6-8 years experience in entertainment and digital marketing, with direct responsibility for launching original series
• Extensive knowledge in running a 360-campaign, from creating the show strategy to executing the tactics
• Able to work across product and marketing to integrate content across the experience
• Solid understanding of marketing and media analytics and how to optimize campaigns
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Ability to think strategically, but also dive in and do the work
• History of leading and producing creatively led campaigns that deliver results
• Experience running a high volume of campaigns at different stages of production
• A real passion for television and movies
• Experience working directly with talent and creators to partner on marketing campaigns
• Prior experience launching Originals at an OTT service is preferred.
