Director, Internet Creative - Rejuvenation
About the Role
As the Director, Internet Creative, you are responsible for managing the digital design for our website, electronic marketing and mobile products. In this role, you must possess the technical capabilities and savvy, as well as industry knowledge and current trends to support and influence Rejuvenation's digital creative strategy, creating a look and feel for our website and marketing materials that will inspire our customers and tell our compelling stories.

• Using a deep understanding of web design, manage the creative development of our website, adding enhanced technical capabilities to evolve our current site to better embody our brand.
• Oversee the eCommerce design, performance and process of the design team to ensure high-quality and timely deliverables.
• Work with a cross-functional team to define user models and interfaces for new/updated features and functionality.
• Working with our team of designers, create engaging visual designs for our site, electronic marketing and future mobile applications that consistently communicate and embody the brand.
• Take initiative in generating ideas and suggestions for technology solutions for creative designs and strategies for the user experience.
• Conduct regular competitive analysis on the best practices of key competitors and eCommerce leaders
• Partner with merchandising to deliver compelling merchandising content to achieve business goals.
• Answer digital design questions, facilitate decisions, share opinions and perspectives, and suggest new and innovative ideas for the team and other business groups. This includes having an understanding of and vision for the short and long-term business, as well as web and user experience needs to effectively manage and direct projects.
• Manage multiple projects, timelines and logistics for both individual contributions and those of the eCommerce team.
• Serve as a leader within the Internet Creative and eCommerce teams.
• Stay current on new technologies and market developments and bring new knowledge to the brand.
• Manage and maintain team budget.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
We're excited about you because you have...
• 10+ years of experience designing, creating, and producing multimedia experiences for the web and mobile applications.
• Deep understanding and experience with eCommerce, and designing for its corresponding success drivers (e.g. SEO, conversion rates, bounce rates, etc.) Strong interest in and knowledge of mobile platforms is preferred.
• Extensive digital/eCommerce experience for retail. Should be able to show depth of experience in layout, typography, design, and flow.
• Detail orientation with a proven track record for producing consistent, clean graphics and layouts for web and mobile applications.
• Demonstrated success in planning and developing a widely used web service platform.
• Excellent team player with a willingness to roll up your sleeves
• Exceptional communicator who leads and contributes to technical discussions, with the ability to translate technical issues and considerations clearly
• Demonstrate broad knowledge of direct-to-consumer customer contact and eCommerce business processes.
• Strong business and operational senses; able to balance and address conflicting needs and timelines of multiple stakeholders.
• Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
• Proven success leading and inspiring a team.
Technical Competencies required:
• Must have an in-depth knowledge of standard digital design applications such as Adobe Creative Suite. Fluent in image optimization techniques, web/mobile design fundamentals. Strong experience with usability.
• Experience working with CSS, (X)HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, video production and editing in CMS based environments.
• Experience in working with eCommerce platforms and tools (shopping carts, promotion engines, cross-sell, attribute-based navigation, homepage re-designs, etc).
