Position Description
Vudu’s Marketing team is seeking a Product Marketing Director who will be an exceptional addition to our growing Marketing team. As the Head of Product Marketing at Vudu, you will help inform product strategy by understanding and prioritizing user needs, developing go-to-market strategies to drive awareness and adoption, and lead cross-functional teams to bring solutions and features to Vudu users.
The Director of Product Marketing will be accountable for working with the Product team in prioritizing features on the roadmap. The right person for this role will draw upon a robust consumer marketing background, intimate knowledge of user experiences/segment journeys and analytical rigor to grow, engage and retain viewers. Your love for television, film, and pop culture, and ability to thrive in a quick moving environment make you an excellent teammate.
Key Responsibilities
•Adopt a viewer-centric approach to product planning by identifying, analyzing and prioritizing user/segment needs
•Create and execute strategies and marketing initiatives that drive awareness, engagement, product adoption and market leadership
•Lead the go-to-market strategies for dynamic product initiatives that span across multiple areas of the viewer-experience, including 1) informing the marketing strategy and creative direction 2) collaborating with channel partners to deliver creative, messaging, and value-propositions and 3) tracking, measuring and reporting on launch campaign performance, and effectiveness
•Collaborate with Product, Design, Performance Marketing and other key stakeholders to ensure the broader team is aligned toward a viewer-centric product experience
•Utilize insights to better understand our customers and industry, including competitive information to drive appropriate messaging and competitive positioning
•Establish KPIs for product launches and rollouts in alignment with product leads
•Collaborate with Product Management to refine the product value proposition and positioning
•Enable ongoing connectivity between Product teams and other key stakeholders
•Manage the Vudu brand as we continue to grow the service.
