Responsibilities
The Director of Product Management is responsible for global product management strategy and execution from product inception through delivery for many of Enterprise Holdings' brands and business units. The Director of Product Management sets the vision for the product line, including developing product strategies and road maps, leading new product introductions, and achieving key performance metrics for the business. This role drives a global product plan across a broad set of business functions and capabilities while leading and inspiring a team of product owners, managers and analysts. You are a cross functional leader working closely and collaborating with Product Discovery, business stakeholders, Marketing, IT and other Corporate departments as well as third-party vendors to communicate the product roadmap and support efforts around messaging and enablement. This Director will be responsible for managing the product team and their development and will provide a critical balance of visioning, orchestrating, driving, and communicating that vision to real products and outcomes.
Responsibilities include:
• Define the product management strategy and roadmap in accordance with product development methodology and processes
• Create and maintain the product vision for all products in this product suite, including considerations around build, buy, partner
• Understand business strategy from executive team and product discovery to ensure product team alignment
• Understand IT strategy from IT team to ensure product alignment
• Develop and execute product and business growth strategy for all products
• Communicate business needs and desired outcomes to team and drive initiatives from inception to release
• Create internal and external product roadmaps
• Direct the launch of new products in partnership w/marketing support and sales
• Ensure the Product team leads and recommends product enhancements to address unmet customer needs or improve competitive advantage
• Establish and manage a data-driven approach to setting and measuring product goals and performance; manage to product scorecards and line reviews through the establishment of key performance indicators for evaluating product health and growth for all products
• Create business cases with financial analysis. Work with internal stakeholders to obtain estimated sales volumes and product costs
• Act as the company's product expert with respect to the product portfolio and overall solution capabilities
• Direct the coordination of beta and pilot programs
• Monitor competitor activities and collect competitive information. Deliver this data to internal stakeholders to support strategic and tactical business planning
• Direct product life cycles from product introduction to end-of-life
Essential Skills:
• Collaborate effectively across organization in an open, transparent and fact-based manner
• Guide ideas through the new product development process
• Direct a team of Product Managers and implement Product Management, Product Ownership, and Product Support processes for all products
• Perform ongoing analysis of current capabilities and properties and benchmark against competition and desired product capabilities
• Work with User Experience, Web Analytics, Brand, Business Management and Marketing Research to ensure appropriate measurements and dashboards are created encouraging continued innovation
• Understand technology design and architecture, user-centric design, Software Development Lifecycle and methodologies to ensure delivery of well aligned, high value solutions
• Evaluate, select and manage multiple outside vender relationships
• Evaluate the market potential of new product ideas and prototypes, and develop plans for those that are viable and have significant market potential
• Lead and supervise the translation of business and brand marketing strategies for all EHI brands into cohesive and comprehensive product offerings
• Partner and coordinate with Marketing, IT, internal and external partners to affirm product strategy and features based on customer requirements, business requirements and the long term strategy of the brands and lines of business

Qualifications
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 8+ years experience in full life cycle product management, e-commerce planning and implementation, user-centric design, and/or software development life cycle management
• 5+ years experience managing outside vendors
• Experience in business case development and some exposure to omni-channel strategy and planning
• 7+ years of experience in leadership of large global teams including multiple levels of leadership
• Exceptional skills in executive presentation, work collaboration, understanding of business challenges and ability to think analytically to direct the improvement of programs
• Passion for leading strategy development and programs to increase customer interaction
• Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work across functions and businesses in a global organization, including leading peer teams to develop and implement programs and strategies
• Proven experience in developing product strategy and execution
• Demonstrated leadership skills in a team-oriented environment with the ability to complete projects on time and on budget
• Knowledge of back-end systems supporting business
• Ability to maintain confidential information
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Comfortable working independently or in a team
• Ability to apply experience based knowledge and leadership skills toward organizational goals
• Strong sense of initiative, requiring little direct supervision
• Ability to exercise sound judgment to make decisions toward the objective of satisfying all brands
• Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
• Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities

• Complete knowledge and understanding of company’s principles, policies, procedures and standards
