Description
Directs and oversees the Replenishment team in the development, analysis and execution of Store/DC Replenishment forecasts and methodologies in support of merchandising strategies. Maximizes sales and inventory productivity at the store article level through team development, cross functional coordination, strategy development, execution, process improvement and strong communication.
1. Oversees the Replenishment team and manages direct reports including staffing, training, development, performance assessment, disciplinary actions and succession planning.
2. Develops and directs store and DC replenishment strategies to ensure fill rate, in stocks, financial sales and turnover objectives are achieved.
3. Develops and maintains expertise in internal forecasting and replenishment systems and supply chain to establish best practices, develop process improvements, and realize efficiencies.
4. Fosters strong collaboration and communication between the Replenishment team and cross-functional teams in the development and execution of store and DC replenishment strategies.
5. Meets regularly with replenishment team to ensure proper execution of strategies and provide guidance in adjusting strategies as necessary.
6. Oversees and directs the sku rationalization process.
7. Maintains and analyzes historical results and provides hindsight evaluation of store and DC replenishment strategies.
8. Directs and oversees the execution of all Ad replenishment strategies.
9. Ensures new stores are inventoried appropriately based on volume and demographics.
10. Improves the understanding of store issues through regular store visits.
Qualifications
1. College degree required.
2. Minimum of 8 years replenishment, allocation, and/or planning experience.
3. Minimum of 2 years experience managing people required.
4. Strong computer skills including advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
5. Replenishment system experience required.
6. Excellent communication, prioritizing, analytical, evaluative, and problem solving skills required.
7. Ability to draw conclusions, develop processes and execute effectively from extensive data sources.
8. Excellent interpersonal and teambuilding skills with the ability to champion change, encourage innovation, and achieve business results required.
