Position Summary
The Director – Epic revenue cycle will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the upcoming Epic system design, build and implementation activities for Coram Infusion Services. The scope of the implementation includes the front-end, mid and back-end revenue cycle processes.
This position will lead and direct the team responsible for defining and documenting all business requirements necessary for the successful system build, including the design of a new operating model. The Director will be responsible for managing project resources, tracking and escalating risks and issues, and managing the overall project plan to ensure project/program objectives are met in a timely manner.
This position will collaborate with other Functional Area Leads based on interdependencies and work with business leaders to prioritize and deliver project deliverables timely and on schedule.
Job Duties
• Lead the design and development of a future state revenue cycle operating model
• Coordinate definition and documentation of revenue cycle business requirements
• Manage external consulting resources as engaged to support this implementation
• Coordinate with Coram’s training lead to develop education material(s) and training environment
• Collaborate with overall project team and other functional leads to meet timelines and execute goals
• Ensure appropriate SME’s are engaged throughout definition, design, build, testing and implementation activities
• Actively pursues issue resolution, and communicates project status/issues to business stakeholders and operational management.
• Report key progress to leadership and escalate risk when appropriate
• Acts as a liaison across all functional areas, including business units, information technology and outside vendors.
• Manage change and promote continuous improvement of project management related processes.
• Interfaces regularly with business unit managers to define project direction and system change priorities.
• Ensure UAT testing is completed
• Contribute to the go-live and roll-out plan development
Education
High school diploma required. Bachelors degree or above highly preferred.
