Position Description
This role provides the candidate with ownership for the development, maintenance and automation of the data content, reporting and visualization systems, dashboards and performance KPI/metrics that support senior executive decision making. They will oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights and optimize processes for data intake, validation, mining and engineering as well as modeling, visualization and communication of insights. They will use technical expertise to assess and guide teams about data sources, retrieval methods and data storage. They should be familiar with data warehousing concepts as well as data quality and governance methodologies.
In addition, this role provides the opportunity to work with an international community of real estate analytics and strategy leaders to co-develop innovative ideas that will influence future strategies, processes and investment decisions. Focused on engaging, leading and influencing markets towards providing new business capabilities and supporting data driven investment decisions. It will involve cross-functional working, using data modeling and analysis techniques, to guide strategic decisions on site selection, estate management and optimization opportunities.
As well as managing the ongoing development of the real estate analytics environment there will be the opportunity to lead a data, systems and reporting transformation project for other areas in international finance. This will involve working closely with the finance end users and partnering with internal technical technology teams to design and implement a new database and automated reporting suite with supporting analytical capability.
The role requires working in an agile way in partnership with internal and external tech specialists to deliver analytical products for our markets as customers. It will rely on both an internal and external focus; continuously looking externally to keep up to date with new datasets, tools, techniques, and technology and critically assessing its applicability to ensure we meet our objectives. From an internal perspective working effectively with our international markets as well as partnering with our internal technology teams to come up with innovative solutions, leverage skills and resources and deliver timely, and fit for purpose solutions.
The candidate will be skilled at leveraging the power of data through analysis, insights and visualizations tools. They can examine, interpret and report results of analytical initiatives to stakeholders and leadership for all markets.
They will lead a team of high performing / high potential analysts and be responsible for supporting and championing their ongoing development. They will motivate the team by creating a compelling vision; making decisions on direction, technology and analytical tools; balancing workloads; determining resources; and developing both short and long-term plans. They will promote a customer centered environment; demonstrating adaptability and sponsoring continuous learning.

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field and 6 years’ experience in real estate, financial and capital planning, data analytics, or related field
• 2 years’ experience leading teams and presenting recommendations at executive-level meetings.
• 3 years’ experience leading the development of data analytics tools, dashboards, and reports.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
1 year s experience leading projects.
2 years experience in real estate portfolio analysis or capital allocation analysis.
2 years experience leading multi-national accounting controllership functions.
2 years experience leading multi-national financial statement auditing processes.
2 years experience with advanced data modeling or application development.
Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
