Position Description
The Director of Acquisitions will be responsible for all aspects of attracting new members to Sam’s Club. You’ll collaborate with internal partners to develop content and channel strategies that will attract high value new members through multiple channels including digital marketing, direct & shared mail, field sales force, advertising and others. You will analyze data and leverage insights to continue to grow and enhance the effectiveness of a portfolio of marketing campaigns. You will be responsible for continuously innovating and testing new channels, partners, offers and creative to meet or exceed our corporate goals for new member acquisitions. You will have a team of four direct reports whom you will direct and develop to help you meet your goals. You will also direct the efforts of several internal partner groups including marketing, operations, finance, decision sciences, product development, technology engineering and others. You will own the P&L and have considerable authority and resources to drive your agenda.

You’ll make an impact by:
• Developing a vision and leading growth: Create a strategy to efficiently and effectively target all high-potential prospects via layers of channels and campaigns to grow the Sam’s Club member base.
• Cultivating thriving relationships: Forge deep, collaborative partnerships with marketing, operations, finance, decision sciences, product development, technology engineering and others, solidifying Sam’s Club’s new member acquisition strategy, aligning campaigns to our business goals, and creating compelling offers for millions of prospects.
• Crafting a data story: Partner with our analytics lead to provide meaningful insights on user behavior, translating successes and failures into optimized tactics.
• Focusing on flawless execution: While managing many project at once—your and those of your direct reports—you’ll need to have a full grasp on the intricacies of each project to ensure that the right prospects receive the proper offer, with high quality creative, and can redeem their offer seamlessly.

Minimum Qualifications
3 years' experience leading cross functional teams.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, finance, or related field and 6 years' experience in marketing, product development, program management or related field OR 8 years' experience in marketing, finance, product development, program management or related field.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
2 years' experience in market research and insight analytics.
5 years' management experience in merchandising or operations.
6 years' experience creating and implementing large scale new product or new business solutions.
Master's degree
