Job Description
Director, Corporate & Supply Chain Human Resources
The Director, Human Resources is a critical member of the Corporate and Supply Chain Leadership Team with responsibility as a trusted advisor, driver of talent and culture initiatives to deliver business results in the way of talent acquisition, on-boarding, performance management, employee engagement, employee relations, and culture development for Corporate and Supply Chain business units. This position reports to the Senior Vice President, HR, Legal and Risk and is a blend of leadership, generalist, business partnership, recruiting and engagement champion.
The Director must demonstrate sound moral character and judgment: decisions come from a fact-based and informed position. S/he will possess outstanding skills of influence, candor, courage, critical thinking and problem-solving.
Job Responsibilities
• Provides consistent leadership of recruiting to improve bench strength and continually improve the talent acquisition process, participates in leadership interviews and manages external firms for executive levels
• Manage employee relations, partnering with key stakeholders to develop strategies and mitigate risk
• Act as a coach and mentor to all leaders
• Implements best practices and leverages analytics to drive strategies for retention, culture change, and other relevant factors impacting team member engagement
• Key contributor to the HR strategy and annual budget planning process to include proposals, timelines, and presentations to increase engagement and to sustain a positive culture
• Partner with leaders to develop talent plans through succession planning, calibration and deliberate development plans to build future bench
• Participates in various talent management activities to include succession planning, talent assessment and performance development initiatives
• Supports and leads corporate events to include idea generation, coordination of activities leading up to event, partnering with other key individuals or teams to ensure their assignments are on track, participate in the events and ensures well-facilitated
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or comparable discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 8+ years as a Human Resources Business Partner including interpreting and implementing recruiting, employee engagement, and performance management initiatives in a multi-site organization
• 4+ years with a proven track record of developing, fostering and motivating a team
• Strong business acumen, ability to understand the HR needs for the business and implement solutions to achieve positive results for the business
• Ability to work independently and get work done through others using effective delegation, scheduling, and time management practices
• Requires well-developed and highly effective listening, verbal/written communication, presentation, and persuasive skills, while maintaining effective collaborative relationships

• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and work with a high sense of urgency under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
