Job Description
The Dir, Marketing Analytics works with various marketing organization to help optimize the marketing spend across various channels like TV, Digital channels and loyalty program. This person will be responsible to ensure that performance measurement for each channel is accurate and that each channel owners is enabled with right analytics for continuous fine-tuning and optimization. This person will play pivotal role in proposing the optimal marketing spend by business unit and channel – would be heavily involved in marketing budget and performance management
This position is responsible for definition of metrics and reporting of critical KPIs.
Job Responsibilities:
• Lead a team to create, develop, and maintain a marketing mix and attribution models
• Serve as point-of-contact for marketing departments with analytic
• Help optimize the return on the marketing spend across TV, Digital channels and loyalty program
• Develop statistical models and methodologies to predict, quantify and evaluate various business metrics
• Understand operational challenges, scope current state and baseline key performance metrics
• Assist in developing executive presentations
• Deliver timely, relevant, useful, and accurate analytics reports with data based inferences to stakeholders
• Continuously identify opportunities to better meet business needs
• Execute projects within aggressive timelines
• Keep abreast of analytics ‘best practices” from a wide range of industries
Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements
Job Requirements:
• Experience in Marketing Analytics (esp. Marketing Spend / Mix Optimization) is a must
• Experience in Digital Marketing and TV is a plus
• Experience in Retail / Consumer Goods is a plus
• 2-4 years of experience managing marketing analytics. Marketing mix optimization and attribution with a proven track record of leveraging data analysis to drive significant business impact
• Hands on experience in statistical analysis, data mining and quantitative research in marketing, finance or related fields required
• Must have knowledge/experience in some/all of the following: Multivariate Regression, Logistic Regression, Support Vector Machines, Bootstrap Aggregation, Boosting, Decision Trees
• Experience in Optimization, Stochastic Processes, Experiment Analysis, and/or Bootstrapping a plus
• Proficiency in at least one statistical analysis tool such as R, SAS, or KXEN a plus
• Proficient with PPT and Excel
• Extremely detail oriented with superior analytical, problem solving, pragmatism and organization skills
• Good leadership presence and communication
• Proven interpersonal, communication and presentation skills – must be able to explain technical concepts and analysis implications clearly to a wide audience
• Ability to quickly learn and gain deep understanding of SHC business processes
