RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in evaluating the impact of the new lease accounting standard on the Company's lease and other agreements and work with the business to implement. Update the Company’s lease accounting policy and footnote disclosures to comply with the new standard. Formulate training plan and materials to educate gallery development, legal and FP&A teams about the standard.
• Analyze other new accounting pronouncements to determine their impact on the Company and assist with their implementation.
• Conduct research on accounting literature pertaining to new business initiatives, contracts and/or transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of detailed accounting memos documenting conclusions reached from accounting research.
• Ensure that accounting documents are prepared in accordance with the Company’s accounting policies.
• Work cross-functionally with gallery development, legal and FP&A on the transformation of the Company’s real estate platform, including analyzing lease transactions, determining lease accounting treatment, and forecasting.
• Prepare assigned sections of the monthly and quarter fluctuation analysis.
• Assist in the preparation of periodic forms filed with the SEC (Forms 10-Q, 10-K and 8-K).
• Prepare and maintain detailed work papers to support disclosures included in SEC Filings.
• Responsible for 404 compliance for direct areas of responsibility and support overall 404 compliance.
• Assist with ad hoc projects and prepare responses to various requests for information.
REQUIREMENTS
• CPA with public accounting experience.
• Minimum of 3-5 years progressively responsible finance work experience.
• Lease accounting experience is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to conduct accounting research and summarize results.
• Detail oriented with high degree of accuracy and exactitude.
• Knowledge and solid experience with SEC Rules and Regulations and related financial disclosures for a public company.
• Ability to successfully meet tight deadlines.
• High technical aptitude with Excel and other software tools.
• Demonstrated ability to think critically and solve problems.
• Proven experience in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment.
