Store Operations manages and enhances the informational resources for researching and resolving operational issues, while guiding and communicating with the field team and leaders who use them. As a Director Store Operations – Store Insights, you will lead the continued emphasis on, and build out of the Voice of the Store strategy, vision, and approach. You will be accountable for building, coaching, and mentoring a strong team of ops analysts and business partners that will serve as the gatherer of information that stores provide HQ teams, through the various channels that are currently available to them. You will focus on driving strategic alignment across the various teams that currently listen to what stores are saying and ensure the right teams across the enterprise are resolving issues and identify ways to improve execution of strategic efforts that stores drive in support of HQ initiatives, through data analysis and value statement creation. While in this role, you will travel occasionally (15%) to ensure you evaluate store impact, questions, wins, and opportunities.
You will ensure stores trust they have a voice by listening to what they are saying and then doing something with the information, so that they can see quantifiable change that enables efficiency & other quantifiable improvements. You will have a strong drive to solve problems with data driven solutions & insights, to create action-oriented mindsets across multiple stakeholder groups throughout the enterprise.
You will ensure appropriate learnings and adjustments are made via a test & learn approach and empower a global team through servant leadership. You will keep leadership informed of what stores are saying, act as an advocate for stores, and address escalated questions or concerns using your strong knowledge and understanding of how stores operate within stores modernization. While looking at information that stores provide, and on store visits, you will assess impacts of questions on processes, technology, scheduling, training, guest, team, etc. to understand trends & pain points. You will then develop a point of view on who can solve, what value there is around solving, and develop hypotheses that will be used for engagement with enterprise teams that are best placed to help our stores succeed. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.
About you:
• College Degree
• 6+ years of leadership experience
• Experience in Organizational Change Management (OCM) & Agile Mindset
• Experience in data analysis techniques and tools
• Comfortable in ambiguous and rapidly changing work environment
• Proactive in solving problems and strategy development
• Ability to form relationships and teach/train quickly
