Job Summary:The Senior Vice President E-Commerce (SVP, E-Commerce) plays a primary role in defining and evolving the Company’s digital and on-line strategies and aligning the in-store customer experience with a goal of driving long-term growth and enhancing the company’s brand equity, strategic positioning, revenue, profit, and ultimately, market value.
The SVP E-Commerce is responsible for developing and scaling Omni-channel technologies across retail, mobile and web platforms. He/she will focus on integrating digital technology so that LL customers have the option to shop and pay the way they choose and LL teams are adopting technology to support the company's strategic initiatives. He/she will be responsible for leading the development of the information architecture and framework that will allow the organization to make fact based customer decisions. The SVP, E-Commerce will champion the deployment of both online and in-store technology innovations and solutions to increase brand awareness, and to drive increased traffic in all channels.

Primary Functions:
• Direct the development of the digital and technology strategic vision, in cooperation with the company's Strategic Initiatives. Map digital capabilities to strategic priorities and maintain a balance between business and technology.
• Drive innovative end-to-end, digital solutions by collaborating effectively with various business partners and work in concert with the CIO to manage internal and external expansion of the digital partner network.
• Develop annual operating and capital budgets to ensure the appropriate resources are available to support the company's digital strategy and technological requirements.
• Develop, manage and curate a portfolio of key third-party relationships (agencies, service providers, consultants, etc.).
• Create innovative, digital solutions with a focus on usability and information architecture, and web analytics with the goal of increasing conversion rate, revenue and profitability.
• Deliver growth and profit objectives by developing executable plans and programs that support the business strategies and drives sales across the Omni-channel business model.
• Measure new efficiencies and ROI replacing manual processes with technology that drives both cost savings and revenue generation.
• Build relationships with key third party vendors, suppliers, agencies and consultants to establish and maintain a position where Lumber Liquidators is viewed as the premier flooring choice for consumers both online and in the stores.
• Manage all digital paid, earned and owned media planning and execution.
• Manage the overall online brand reputation, enhancing and improving consumer sentiment and ensuring positive customer experiences shared on LL digital properties and amplified across appropriate channels.
• Identify technology trends and evolving social behaviors that may support or impede the business.
• Stay current with technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, digital marketing, product development and product management best practices.
• Drive innovative solutions through digital channels to improve the customer experience that may not be achievable through traditional brick and mortar channels.
• Expand and enhance the company's store to consumer technology capability.
• Enhance the equity of the brand, improve brand performance that translates to increased sales and market share, optimize differentiation in the market, and provide effective sales platforms.
• Support and help lead change in the organization while fostering a culture that drives for results and equally focuses on product, service and execution.
• Provide strong leadership in the recruitment, training and development of top quality talent to ensure the team has a high level of performance, productivity, accountability, and transparency.
• Hold associates accountable to conduct business and behave in an ethical manner and in compliance with company policy as well as all applicable laws and regulations; ensures applicable training is provided.
• Foster and ensure compliance with company policy and applicable laws and regulations relating to all facets of the business, including, but not limited to SOX, SEC, Lacey Act, FCPA, and C-TPAT, wage and hour, product safety, certifications and labelling, environmental, and social responsibility.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• 15+ years of professional experience in increasingly senior digital, Omni-channel and/or marketing roles, preferably in a multi-unit retail organization.
• 5+ years as a senior digital and/or marketing executive.
• Strong retail background and experience in the development of broad-based and all-encompassing corporate, digital/on-line, and/or marketing strategies that drive growth, leverage new business opportunities, and improve profitability.
• Successful record of accomplishment building and leading ecommerce product development – experience developing and executing digital retail experiences in a distributed environment including websites, apps and 3rd party experiences.
• Extensive data/analytics experience and knowledge of emerging trends and technologies.
• Straddling the creative/technology divide – proven success in using technology to solve consumer and retailer pain points and challenges.
• Domain knowledge – Deep insight into customer behavior and translating it to a multichannel world.
• A well-grounded understanding of a multi-unit and multi-state business model.
• Record of accomplishment of having worked as a key advisor to and been a participant in senior management on a variety of business issues.
• Strong record of accomplishment of building strategic partnerships and relationships.
• Experience helping lead an organization through change is preferred, including direct experience with operating initiatives and programs that build growth and profitability.
• Experience in attracting and retaining high caliber talent and developing a world-class team.
Education & Experience
• Bachelor degree required in Business, Information Technology, Marketing or related field; advanced Business or Technology degree preferred.
