Responsibilities:
• Ensure overall performance of production line to include quality, safety, efficiency, sanitation, GMP's, waste reduction and material yield.
• Coordinate team activities.
• Schedule vacations and arrange for coverage.
• Daily communication with Team Managers
• Coordinate problem solving with appropriate resources.
• Resolve problems and make necessary adjustments to keep the line running.
• Perform job tasks of other team members of jobs of equal or lower grades.
• Facilitate teamwork among team members.
• Hold meetings for production tracking, problem solving and team development.
Required Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years production experience.
• Must be able to inspect products to verify conformance to specifications. Directs set up and adjustments to machines.
• Must be able to study production schedule and estimate worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment.
• Proven leadership experience.
• Ability to direct the activities of others.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in written form.
• Ability to facilitate teamwork, to effectively run meetings.
• Ability to work overtime/weekends as required.
• Must be able to demonstrate high level user skills in SAP
