Description
Responsible for the execution of CPG/vendor supported shopper marketing programs. Manages and implements program elements, creative development and communication of all shopper marketing campaigns. Responsible for the vendor billings and proof of concept in order to generate $20m+ of vendor income. Serves as key liaison between internal departments and vendor partners to ensure all project requirements are met and executed.
• Responsible for creation of internal/external activities and timelines surrounding the development and implementation of targeted marketing programs designed to improve customer loyalty
• Responsible for managing the personalized loyalty marketing budget including collecting and processing all invoices and AR requests. Responsible for all CPG funded vendor coupon and copient offer billings for the banner. Owns weekly budget tracking update to finance team.
• Responsible for project management of the Pet/Baby/HBC, New Item campaigns, MVP 360 CONNECT, and Shop & Earn vendor facing portions of targeted & personalization programs; including (but not limited to) oversight of budget tracker, project development from initiation to closure, project schedules, and working with team members and third parties for production and creative services.
• Works closely and negotiates rates with key third party vendors contracted to provide department support. Assist in the project work of these companies and develop relationships that ensure program objectives are met.
• Articulates campaign results to Category and vendor teams to fund future enrollment of campaigns.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree
• 5 - 8 years Marketing, Category or Customer Relationship Marketing experience
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with marketing promotions or one to one direct promotions
• Experience with financial planning & budget management
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business
Skills & Abilities
• Working knowledge of retail food industry, store operation, and mass marketing
• Understanding of retail food industry Category Management and associated CPG companies
• Ability to professionally perform multi-media sales presentations
• Organization and time management skills
• Ability to interact at various levels of management
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software suite
• Strong oral and written communication capabilities including presentation to leadership teams
• Good interpersonal skills at interacting with a wide variety of individuals
