Position Description
• Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics
• Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce
• Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals
• Directs process to identify, analyze, and reduce product returns
• Directs the benchmarking function for assigned strategic business units (SBUs)
• Ensures suppliers meet Walmart's product performance quality standards for assigned strategic business units (SBUs)
• Provides overall direction
• Sets direction for the total quality management process for assigned strategic business units (SBUs)
Minimum Qualifications
2 years of supervisory experience.
Bachelor s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field and 7 years experience in manufacturing, quality control, product development, or related field OR 9 years experience in manufacturing, quality control, product development, or related field.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
3 years experience in product sourcing.
3 years experience in product testing within a retail environment.
3 years experience working with or for third-party testing laboratories.
3 years merchandising experience in a retail environment.
International Standards Organization (ISO) Certification.
Master s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
Six Sigma or related certification.
