The Vice President, Ecommerce will report to the General Manager, US and will be the strategic architect and business leader for PANDORA US for Ecommerce. He/she will be an Omni-channel thought leader with responsibility for all aspects of Ecommerce execution and will work collaboratively with the global ecommerce and marketing teams. He/she will be a highly visible leader and will collaborate with the entire PANDORA Americas enterprise and all other team members to maximize the company’s financial performance, drive brand expansion, and expand on PANDORA’s affordable luxury positioning to further enhance brand recognition built on quality and value. As a direct report into the General Manager, US and a key member of the PANDORA US leadership team, the Vice President, Ecommerce will have the responsibility for a best in class Ecommerce business. The leader will work with the regional and global ecommerce functions to develop Ecommerce strategies and plans, infrastructure, human capital and processes. He/she will lead the core business structure and strategies to achieve significant growth of the online sales channel for PANDORA. He/she will collaborate with key stakeholders for operational, branding, creative, merchandising, and customer experience strategies and infrastructure.
SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for the Ecommerce infrastructure including human capital, merchandising, operations, technology, social media strategies, customer experience and branding strategies to support the overall Global PANDORA brand and the sales and profitability growth of PANDORA US.
• Lead and direct the PANDORA Ecommerce day-to-day operations including merchandise assortment, inventory management, promotion planning and execution.
• Build an in-house merchandising and digital content team to operate both the U.S. and Canadian sites
• Create a balance between strategic planning and tactical execution. Build best in class structure and processes for online sales channel using key performance metrics and capabilities and processes equivalent with other best-in-class Ecommerce businesses.
• Create and implement plans to achieve long-term strategic goals and objectives that are aligned with PANDORA Global initiatives and future growth.
• Be an influential, collaborative thought leader and valued contributor who will provide the PANDORA US leadership team with insightful analysis that will allow for greater understanding of the online sales channel, business results and related decision making.
• Partner with the PANDORA merchandising and marketing team to collaborate on products, and brand strategies to drive both online and store sales and profitability.
• Provide the Ecommerce expertise and overall leadership to build a strong Ecommerce team with high talent standards and individual accountability.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/ QUALIFICATIONS:
• An accomplished Ecommerce leader with 8 to 10 years of experience in a successful Ecommerce business for a strong branded multi-channel retailer. This individual will have 3 to 5 years’ experience as a leader of an online channel and will have extensive knowledge of Ecommerce best practices and processes.
• Has built and operated in house ecommerce merchandising teams
• Demonstrated ability to define and track emerging trends combined with the capacity to provide insight and vision into the online customer and provide direction to business leaders on customer acquisition, retention and marketing strategies.
• Understanding of Ecommerce technology, search engine optimization, data analytics, CRM, loyalty programs, social media and next generation Ecommerce solutions and platforms and how to integrate Ecommerce into the overall strategy of PANDORA Americas and the Global PANDORA brand strategy.
• A collaborative and inclusive leader with the ability to communicate and relate both up and down the corporate organization. Strong ability to develop proactive relationships and to partner with other executives in the organization to improve sales, business practices and the creation of new solutions in a collaborative, entrepreneurial and high growth culture.
• The Vice President, Ecommerce will be entrepreneurial, forward thinking and strategic with a strong business acumen.
• Strong written and presentation skills and the stature to inspire confidence and credibility with the PANDORA America team and the PANDORA Global leaders.
