General Responsibilities
Dir, IT Transformation Program Reporting and Financials
The Program Director will be responsible for creating and managing all Project O.N.E. status and financial reporting. The role will partner with Project O.N.E. Program Delivery Directors to properly report on status, issues, risks and expenses at the workstream level as well as consolidated Program O.N.E. reporting. This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining executive reporting for Project O.N.E. and assisting with creation of board deck and Project O.N.E. presentations across the organization.
Key Result Areas:
• Accountable for all Project O.N.E. reporting
• Responsible for developing effective communications (e.g., presentations, program websites, blogs, status reports, etc.) and keeping the executives up-to-date on progress.
• Work with Program Directors for each workstream, partners and impacted areas (security, architecture, FP&A) to ensure all accomplishments, risks, issues and statuses are properly documented and communicated to the appropriate audiences
• Responsible for ensuring the reporting reflects accurate status with consistency across workstreams
• Ensure that the critical path of each program/project is well documented and communicated via standardized, consistent reporting
• Demonstrate expertise in project management principles, business acumen and technology leadership.
• Demonstrate an ability to effectively analyze issues and risks and accurately reflect those in regular status reports
• Oversee Project O.N.E. financial reporting, including NPV updates, expense management, and budgets across all workstreams and compile into digestible executive update on a monthly basis
• Foster strong working relationship with Hertz ePMO, vendor PMO Leads, and Hertz Program Directors
Mandatory Requirements
Educational Background:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration/Accounting, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.; Prefer advanced degree
• Program Manager over Transformation Projects; formal Project Mgmt. methodologies
Professional Experience:
• 10+ years’ experience with team leadership, project management, and execution of multiple simultaneous and/or large projects.
• Prior management experience leading large-scale initiatives
Knowledge:
• Experience implementing and tracking service level or metrics reporting
• PMO experience and ability to create and manage consolidate reporting across multiple projects
• Extensive knowledge of Project O.N.E. scope and timelines
• Thorough understanding of Project O.N.E. NPV process
Skills:
• PMP certifications preferred
• Detailed oriented project manager with strong financial and leadership skills
• Extensive skill using Program and Project management methodologies
• Self-motivated leader with forward-thinking visionary and entrepreneurial thinking to lead the change
• Be a catalyst to bring people together for a common vision
• Highly self-motivated and directed with an attention to detail
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Expert in Root Cause Analysis
• Strong interpersonal and written skills
