So we can continue to help others love how they live in moments that matter, the iconic brand is looking for a driven and passionate professional to raise the bar and join our Administrative department as Director, Enterprise Business Intelligence, located in our Northbrook, IL corporate office.
• Partner with key business function leaders to create the enterprise business intelligence program and implement BI roadmap that will Inform the organization's strategic and operational goals
• Develop strategies and approaches to advance enterprise data analytics systems from descriptive and predictive to prescriptive capabilities
• Develop and manage standardized reporting and scorecards for key business areas to allow for effective monitoring of performance.
• Partner with senior leaders across organization to understand business goals, consult on data strategies and produce repeatable, data-driven outcomes
• Build and grow a team of data engineers, analysts and scientists to enable the transition to a data-driven enterprise
• Oversee the ongoing development and operations of the BI tools and deliver and educate through change management
• Empower business users by providing guidance and support on self-service reporting and ad hoc analysis capabilities
• Partner with IT leaders to ensure consistent data availability, data quality and data accessibility
Required Skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in business, economics, statistics or related quantitative field required; Master’s Degree preferred
• 7-10 years of experience within the business intelligence and analytics field in retail, consumer good, business consulting or relevant industries
• 3-5 years of progressive of people leadership experience
• Experience in managing data visualization tools such as Tableau, microstrategy, Power BI, looker, domo or equivalent
• Experience in developing and managing external vendors in data management technology and big data analytics space
• Extensive experience and knowledge in retail analytics and strategy analysis, including retail channel operation, merchandising and assortments, supply chain, customer and market analysis, etc.
• Demonstrates thought leadership and provide strategic guidance on emerging technologies to innovate and ensure the functions are well positioned in the marketplace
• Demonstrates collaboration, communication and storytelling skills with ability to communicate complex concepts to a variety of audiences
• Desire to successfully lead, influence and inspire cross-functional stakeholders as well as external partners
• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and Google platforms
• Good reading, written and verbal language skills (English)
