Leads and manages the Global Incident Management program designed to ensure that ethics and compliance concerns raised by employees and other third parties are promptly and thoroughly investigated and appropriately addressed. Actively identifies, analyzes and mitigates potential business ethics risks to the organization.
Key Job Responsibilities:
• Review all ethics and compliance concerns raised to the Company from any site and channel to ensure that allegations are promptly, thoroughly and objectively assessed in accordance with company expectations for managing fact-finding investigations.
• Manages Compliance Hotline and communication process between Global Compliance, Employee Relations, Legal, Global Security and Information Security. Builds strong collaborative relationships with partnering investigation functions to achieve consistent, objective and appropriate discipline across the business.
• Ensure development and implementation of consistent investigation processes and documentation practices including completion of action items.
• Assist with the execution of the Ethics and Compliance program, raising program awareness and fostering accountability for ethics and compliance throughout the organization.
• Responsible for the continuous enhancement of the investigation and reporting process consistent with industry leading practices and solutions, including reporting tools.
• Design and deliver effective training in collaboration with Legal and Employee Relations for investigations across the Company to enhance interviewing and report writing.
• Responsible for analyzing investigation trends and advising the company on emerging issues and risks.
• Assist with the implementation of a new global incident management process, procedures and centralized repository system. Conduct routine reviews and/or audits regarding the processes and effectiveness of the program to make recommendations for continuous process improvement.
• Conduct investigations as needed.
• Determine need for further review, root cause analysis, and subsequent remediation plan development and implementation.
• Assist with related special projects and other duties as deemed necessary.
Qualifications
Skills and Abilities
• 7-10 years’ experience in Compliance, Audit, Legal and/ or employee relations with 5+ years internal investigation experience
• A Bachelor’s degree is required and advance degree is preferred
• Substantial experience in conducting and overseeing investigations is required
• Ability to partner and collaborate with multiple stakeholders and functional partners
• Strong understanding of risk management and controls; ability to identify areas of risk and understand potential impacts.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Proficient in analyzing data and trends in order to present data in an efficient, logical and meaningful manner
• Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and handle information with the utmost discretion
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize critical matters with minimal or no supervision
• Strong work ethic and quality of work standards under tight time pressure
• Strong knowledge and application of Microsoft office / various computer systems and technology
