About the Job:
As a Director of Supply Chain: Material Handling Team (MHT)you will be responsible for strategic planning and leading initiatives to support overall Asset Management of our material handling systems across our network. The primary task of this team is analyzing the safety, budget, uptime, and operational performance to extract maximum value from the installed equipment. This includes leading and developing the engineering team that defines our maintenance procedures, budgets, projects, and long-range capital spending plans for material handling equipment. The role may also oversee design, scoping, implementation and optimization of technology in the DC facilities. Successful individuals will also develop strong partnerships with internal information technology teams and external vendors to ensure end-to-end stable systems and support.
Asset ownership includes:
• Case and pallet conveyors
• Tilt tray, cross belt and shoe sortation equipment
• Automated storage and retrieval systems
• Industrial networks and fieldbuses
• Pick to Light solutions
• PLC and PC based control systems
• SCADA and HMI platforms
• Machine vision, scanners, and Print & Apply systems
• Automated systems that we will begin installing during our transformation

About you:
• 4-year degree in relevant technical or engineering field
• 10+ years of Industrial or Reliability Engineering, or facilities maintenance management experience
• Significant experience supporting or installing material handling equipment
• Working knowledge of SAP and Maximo
• Ability to break down elements of maintenance Operational Excellence from the foundation (PM, CM, asset profiling, MAXIMO, etc. in support of “asset health”) to value generation (usage and continuous improvement)
• Strong analytic thought leadership around predictive analytics & business case development
• Demonstrated ability to create/refine a long-term vision and strategy in support of asset value extraction
• Capability to drive change management across different levels of the organization
• Displays a strong leadership presence and ability to navigate through complex situations
• Strong talent management and team leadership skills
