Position Description
Manages departmental profit and loss (P&L) and capital and operating budgets by forecasting resource and business needs; monitoring actual
expenses versus budget; and making adjustments as needed.
Oversees the executive updates for Supply Chain Innovation initiatives throughout Logistics by ensuring alignment of Logistic resources with Supply
Chain initiatives; developing communication with senior leaders to ensure the implementation of key strategies; and communicating with other areas
within the organization to gain support for and alignment of initiatives.
Drives the root cause analysis of project impacts by identifying areas for improvement with cross functional teams; acting as a subject matter expert
for Logistics to provide support and guidance to cross functional teams on supply chain capabilities and limitations; approving plans of action to
improve the efficiency of merchandise flow at a reduced expense; and approving recommended solutions and optimum processes while securing the
support of senior leadership.
Develops and drives the project management office (PMO) strategy by creating and maintaining project evaluation tools, methods, and performance
dashboards; overseeing the development, refinement, and implementation of project management methodologies, toolkits, and practices; driving
timely project progression and completion (for example, on schedule, within budget); monitoring a return on investment on controller projects;
reviewing return on investment (ROI) and financial impact analysis and data to propose strategies to senior leadership; and leading the development
of communication and change frameworks to drive change management processes globally.
Oversees and leads the strategy for the Print Management Distribution Center (PMDC) by identifying sustainability efforts, cost savings, and opportunities; overseeing and monitoring policy, process, and standards adherence; evaluating performance based on performance metrics; developing and maintaining working relationships with internal and external partners; and developing and driving a communication strategy for the organization and ensuring integration with corporate strategy.
Provides overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs; developing, communicating, building support for, and implementing business strategies, plans, and practices; analyzing costs and forecasts and incorporating them into business plans; determining and supporting resource requirements; evaluating operational processes; measuring outcomes to ensure desired results; identifying and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; promoting a customer environment; and demonstrating adaptability and sponsoring continuous learning.
Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce by diagnosing capability gaps; recruiting, selecting, and developing talent; supporting mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning; and leveraging the capabilities of new and existing talent.
Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics by integrating these values into all programs and practices; developing consequences for violations or non-compliance; and supporting the Open Door Policy.
Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals by sponsoring and leading key community outreach and involvement initiatives; engaging key stakeholders in the development, execution, and evaluation of appropriate business plans and initiatives; and supporting associate efforts in these areas.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field and 8 years' experience in Supply Chain Management (for example, Distribution Center General Manager) or related field OR 12 years' experience in Supply Chain Management for example, Distribution Center General Manager) or related field.
• 6 years’ supervisory experience
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Business or related field.
10 years' experience in retail supply chain or related field
