Position Description:
POSITION PURPOSE
Director of Pro Business Operations is responsible for the development and oversight of the programs and processes which enable profitable business relationships with the Professional Customers that make up approximately 30% of the companies revenue. Some of the areas where these programs and processes will have an impact are: Sales and overall Pro shopping satisfaction, staffing, merchandising, Contractor Service Desk design, implementation and operation, delivery and fulfillment, marketing and merchandising to ensure in-stock position. Training curriculum and new training modules as well as oversight of all Pro Business related communication between the stores and SSC are in scope. It also creates and oversees operational integration with National Accounts and Government Business. Development of programs and processes for B2B selling including portfolio development and management, Customer Loyalty and contact management as well as credit products, portfolio and portfolio productivity. Development of content and format of KPI reporting. The person in this position must have an industry awareness and strategic business development and market intelligence contacts.

• Field a world class, market based execution team at CS Desks and in the PSM / RPM ranks.

NATURE AND SCOPE
Typically reports to Senior VP of Pro and Tool Rental
Accountable for the management of a department or functional group through subordinate supervisors/managers and for all personnel issues - including selection, termination, performance appraisal and professional development of subordinates.
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Environment:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Travel:
Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
Years of Relevant Work Experience:8 years
Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience developing S/O programs for all departments for quick ship to Pros preferred.
• Website development experience for Pro customers that provides service, product information and business assistance preferred.
• Ability to manage JLQ list for all departments on key Pro items preferred.
• Experience overseeing super premium customer purchase buy pattern and manipulating mix and merchandising layout for optimal purchase share preferred.
• Ability to develop a detailed network of regional/local commodity/specialty suppliers to use for large quotes/bid by the bidroom team preferred
• Experience partnering with merchants to create pricing strategy inside subclasses to drive additional transactions and maximize GM$ preferred.
• Sales management skills.
• 10 to 12 years in the Building supply or related industry.
• Process development skills.
• Industry awareness and engagement.
