Responsibilities
Join The Container Store during a pivotal point in our growth as we launch our second distribution center. This is your opportunity to make an immediate impact on a nearly billion-dollar business as we design our new logistics network strategy. With a second DC, our whole approach to transportation will transform under your leadership.
We look to your expertise in transportation and logistics to lead our domestic and international business functions including contract negotiations, vendor relationships and system and policy implementations. You will work in partnership with amazing teams like our Merchandising, Visual, Store Operations, Accounting and Finance departments.

Qualifications
• 7-10 years of transportation management experience in a multi-site distribution network, preferably in retail
• Knowledge working with importing and domestic truckload, LTL, parcel shipments and network strategy development
• College degree
• Strong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in Excel
• Experience managing others including career development, directing and evaluating work
• Strong communication skills internally and with outside vendor partners
• Located in the Dallas/FT. Worth market with a desire to work in our corporate office located in Coppell
