Position Summary
As the Business to Business Visual Storytelling and Presentation Director, you will lead a team of designers in effectively translating business objectives into compelling insights-based, engaging visual narratives through presentations. You and your team will also provide solutions beyond “sales deck” to elevate our brand, products, services and capabilities to clients, prospects and internal colleagues. The work will include graphic design, visual story-telling and presentation production. You will be leading the transformation of our approach to presentations and visual storytelling and to be successful, you will bring with you, your deep understanding of data visualization design, strong business sense and leadership skills, and an expert grasp of how storytelling architecture is applied within presentations. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
• Collaborating and engaging with key internal and external partners to translate complex messages into simple, yet visually compelling narratives to advance business opportunities and influence action
• Evaluating and elevating current approach and visual practices and bring “best-in-class” thinking and experiment with and implement new approaches to presentation design technology and emerging presentation platforms
• Defining presentation objectives during the discovery process and ensuring the best formats and tools are used.
• Creating an illustration, photo and other visual asset library and a process for continued maintenance of assets
You will need to excel at telling stories through data and presenting information in a visually compelling way that elevates, captivates and changes customer behaviors. You and you team will also be deconstructing complex datasets into easy-to-understand visuals that shapes understanding of the business or strategy. You will be managing a large number of projects under tight deadlines. You will also be collaborating with key partners to design custom infographics (including custom imagery, sourcing appropriate imagery, crafting charts/graphs and creating a clear and impactful overall design). As a natural storyteller, you will have an impact on our marketing initiatives by helping others find their story within their content. As a leader in PBM Marketing, you will bring “best-in-class” thinking to intake approach and existing process to keep CVS Health and our CVS Caremark pharmacy benefit management services on the forefront of our industry.
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, experience design or other related field
