Alorica’s Vice President, Compliance & Privacy is responsible for the leadership, design and implementation of the Company’s Compliance and Privacy programs; will lead the company’s enterprise-wide risk management efforts; will drive comprehensive compliance and privacy policy adherence, and will oversee and report on all compliance and privacy program activities, training, violations and potential areas of risk.

Key Job Responsibilities:
• Develop, initiate, maintain and revise policies and procedures for the general operation of the Compliance Program and the Privacy Program.
• Maintain current knowledge and serve as the company’s leading authority on Compliance and Privacy current and proposed legislation; coordinate activities with other departments to stay current and abreast of the status of all activities to identify risks and trends.
• Manage the day to day operation of the Compliance and Privacy Programs.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable policies, procedures, laws and regulations.
• Build and direct a comprehensive incident management system, including hotline; providing the organization a system to capture, investigate, manage and ensure action plans are established and completed for all ethics, code of conduct, data security, compliance and privacy matters across the organization.
• Build a strategic and comprehensive privacy program that defines, develops, maintains and implements policies and processes which minimize risk and ensure the confidentiality and legal standards for privacy, data protection and security worldwide, including protected health information (PHI).
• Respond to all alleged violations of rules, policies, procedures, ethics, privacy and Code of Conduct by implementing a systemic consistent investigative process; and overseeing adherence, training and education.
• Work with the organization’s senior management team to establish governance overall Program activities and efforts.
• Institutes and maintains an effective communication campaign to promote the use of the Hotline, heighted awareness of the Code of Conduct and Ethics Policies, Privacy Program and ensure that all program efforts are reviewed and updated regularly as required.
• Ensure timely adoption and execution of all GDPR and DOR (Date Privacy Act) data privacy compliance requirements.
• Provide reports on a regular basis to senior management on the operation, progress, risks, violations, training, and opportunities of the compliance and privacy efforts to include root-cause analysis and remediation strategy.
• Lead the company’s enterprise risk management efforts to Identify potential areas of vulnerability and impact; develop/implement risk responses to mitigate risks more effectively;
• Coordinate compliance risk assessment to drive compliance program priorities and plan
• Monitor the performance of the Compliance Program and activities on a continuing basis, taking appropriate steps to improve its effectiveness.
• Works with various functions as appropriate to develop an effective compliance training program, including appropriate introductory training for new employees as well as ongoing training for all employees and managers. Lead cross functional team to review corporate wide training needs.
Qualifications
Education/Experience
• A Bachelor’s degree is required; a masters and JD is strongly preferred
• 12+ years of experience designing, implementing and managing a large-scale Compliance and Privacy Program
• Expert knowledge of state and federal applicated laws and regulations
• Proven ability to consistently and promptly drive and deliver high caliber results
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills
• Demonstrated ability to build trust and foster collaborative working relationships by ensuring confidence and trust through strong influencing skills
• Possess unquestionable integrity
• Must be able to analyze and present data and recommendations in an efficient and logical manner
• Proven ability to work in a highly matrixed and decentralized organization across all corporate functions
• Ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced organization and respond effectively to changing direction
• Experience driving major change initiatives
