ABOUT THE JOBThe Retail Management Store Commercial job function develops sales in an efficient and effective way in all media in order to attract more customers. The function optimizes our sales priorities and commercial and forecast activities. Our main responsibilities include developing and executing sales steering, selling the IKEA way, range grouping, pricing, range management and launches. This ensures an enjoyable, convenient and successful shopping and buying experience, which leads to increased sales and sustained long-term profitability. Provides support to the Preparation and Flow Manager to manage the people in the area of responsibility, in order to coordinate and optimize the goods flow. This job is also accountable for leading a team to secure availability, efficient execution of the replenishment process, and fulfillment of customer orders in different sales channels in the store.
YOUR ASSIGNMENTYour tasks will include:
• Leads the process minimizing local shortages in the store and ensures that the store stock is available for customers across all channels.
• Optimizes goods allocation and the planning of space, equipment, and people to minimize wait times at full serve handout.
• Implements ASR rules and guidelines in the areas of logistics in store and using the iMonitor tool to follow up.
• Maintains the Store Goods Flow system in accordance to agreed routines/procedures including basic actions and daily movements with a multi-channel focus.
• Contributes to an efficient goods flow by having close cooperation with partners within commercial team, in the area of merchandising to sell more across channels.
• Optimizes the efficient flow of goods to the customer in partnership with Customer Relations team, focusing on minimizing wait time and ensuring customer picking service order quality and accuracy.
• Ensures safe powered equipment operation and racking standards are maintained and coordinates ordering and repairs.
• Manages the day-to-day operations, activities and staff of the In/Outbound teams (including picking service order procurement), including, retention, performance management, succession planning and competence development.
YOUR PROFILEYour knowledge, skills and experience include:
• Associate's Degree
• Self-reliant and motivated with a proven ability to work as part of a larger team.
• Experience of managing/leading and developing a team, preferably gained in a retail/commercial or supply environment.
• Ability to set expectations for others and provide clear direction and follow up.
• Confident in communicating and managing/leading others.
• Ability to prioritizes and organize work and the work of others in order to make the most efficient use of time available.
• Experience of setting action plans, as well as setting and following up on goals.
• Ability to adjust the style of communication to get the message across to the receiver.
• Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English.
