JOB SUMMARY
Alorica’s Vice President, Workforce Compliance & Diversity is responsible for leadership, design, and implementation of the Company’s EEO compliance programs, diversity & inclusion program, and workforce compliance initiatives, with the goal of creating an inclusive work environment; fostering employee engagement; and furthering compliance with the company’s legal obligations in these areas.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
EEO Compliance (40%)
Lead, design, implement and oversee the Company’s mandatory and discretionary EEO programs (in collaboration with the employment counsel and other stakeholders, as appropriate) to include:
• Development and oversight of the company’s EEO policies and procedures (to include those pertaining to harassment, discrimination, and retaliation prevention)
• Development and delivery of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation prevention education programs
• Investigation and resolution of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims
• Development and implementation of EEO compliance accountability strategy and programs to monitor organizational compliance with state and federal discrimination, harassment, and retaliation laws
• Analysis of and executive-level reporting on compliance with state and federal EEO obligations (to internal and external audiences, as needed) to include root-cause analysis and remediation strategy
• Collaboration with designated leaders on global incident management initiative (intended to advance centralized intake, tracking, and resolution of workforce compliance, including EEO-related, complaints)
• Conducting audits to further organizational compliance with discrimination, harassment, and retaliation prevention objectives
• Tracking trends and development of recommendations and action plans to promote an inclusive workforce and mitigate risk of non-compliance with company policy and legal obligations
Diversity & Inclusion (25%)
• Design, implementation, and oversight of company’s diversity and inclusion initiatives including those pertaining to talent acquisition, retention, development, and training
• Partnering with Diversity & Inclusion Officer and Chief Culture Officer in developing D&I strategy and related action plans
• Servicing as a subject matter expert for Human Resources and business leaders on EEO/Diversity matters
Workforce Compliance (25%)
• Evaluation of company policies, procedures, and practices for compliance with federal, state, and local employment law obligations; development of strategic recommendations to advance compliance objectives; and oversight and implementation of resulting action plans
• Collaboration with Workforce Compliance team and employment counsel in achieving workforce compliance objectives
• Tracking initiatives and development of executive-level reporting on trends, opportunities, recommendations, and progress against goals
Other responsibilities as assigned (10%)
Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 12+ years’ combined experience in employment law, workforce compliance, and Human Resources
• Expert knowledge of state and federal employment laws (including but not limited to discrimination, harassment, and retaliation prevention laws)
• Demonstrated success in building and delivering a comprehensive D&I or similar workforce compliance strategy at a national or global organization with proven results
• Demonstrated passion for workforce compliance, diversity, & inclusion
• Proven ability to consistently and promptly deliver high caliber work
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills
• Ability to inspire trust and confidence and influence all levels of the organization
