Position Description
The Director of Global Investigations will lead a team of 7 field investigators focused on investigating external risk associated with pharmacy diversion working in partnership with the DEA and local task forces as applicable. The Director will also support the development and execution of the strategy around mitigating external risk for controlled substances within pharmacy operations. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics
• Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce
• Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals
• Develops internal and external relationships including partnering with federal law enforcement as needed
• Identifies investigative trends and provides solutions for potential systemic threats, vulnerabilities, and risks for pharmacy operations
• Oversees global investigations related to external diversion
• Oversees the standardization of investigative processes and procedures
• Provides overall direction to the external diversion investigation team
• Support of the internal diversion investigative team
Minimum Qualifications
3 years of supervisory experience.
Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Political Science, or related field and 5 years experience in investigative casework/management, auditing, security, or related field OR 7 years experience in investigative casework/management, auditing, security, or related field.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
10 years experience in the DEA
10 years experience in Program Management
