Be a part of this brand as the associate creative director, merchandise design and visual merchandising for Starbucks Reserve and Starbucks Reserve Roastery. In this role, you will contribute to Starbucks success by managing the design and development across multiple product categories to produce and curate new products that reflect the Starbucks Reserve Brand and customer’s needs, while innovating best in class meaningful design. This role will also be responsible for leading a team that merchandises our multiple store formats and ensures that the merchandise product stories come to life
Job Summary and Mission
Starbucks is currently seeking an Associate Creative Director to help lead creative initiatives and produce award-winning work. Looking for candidates will have held ACD or Creative Manager positions at an in-house design studio or agency. Strong knowledge of current retail environment is a must.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
• Co-create and drive the vision for Merchandise Design and Visual Merchandising for the Starbucks Reserve Brand
• Collaborate with studio peers on continual evolution and innovation of the Starbucks Reserve Brand
• Be a storyteller. Sell the vision for Merchandise Design and Visual Merchandising with cross-functional teams
• Contribute to our team environment so that designers and creative managers are excited and inspired to do their best work everyday
• Support professional and personal development of team members to ensure designers and creative managers are challenged and engaged in the work
• Identify and recruit outstanding talent
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• 8+ years of experience with retail merchandise design and visual merchandising
• Experienced manager with proven track record of supporting and growing employees
• Strong creative direction of product design and visual merchandising
• Servant Leader - someone who leads by example; inspires team to do their best work and helps others
• Solid presentation skills, both internally and client facing
• Strong communication skills
• A leader that will contribute to and foster the great creative culture and talent we have at Starbucks
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, Google Suite and Microsoft Suite
