Description:
About us:
One of the world’s leading and most recognized brands continues to evolve in our approximately 1800 store locations, where guests are inspired to get what they need to enjoy life—for less. This unmatched shopping experience is distinguished in large part by modern, beautiful and innovative product displays, brought to life by the Visual Merchandising Director.
Do you want a challenging and interesting retail career that balances creativity with strategy and sales results? Can you color outside the lines while leveraging corporate guidelines and standards? Are you curious about the many different guest personas and how to localize the assortment to serve them? Are you ready to oversee Visual Merchandising teams, execute initiatives in multiple districts and make a big splash that’s felt across the market? Then hit the sales floor as a Visual Merchandising Director and shine your brightest at Target.
In this hands-on role, you’ll share your vision and apply it to the critical decisions that affect how product is presented to guests. You’ll refresh and create displays and “shops,” and share images of the final product with other groups. You’ll lead store and district teams on store walks, bring teams together for training and guide them on implementing important company initiatives that innovate and expand visual positions. Your work will support brand launches, and you’ll act as a liaison between Target headquarters and the field. As a powerful asset who offers both creative input and business acumen, you’ll review data to evaluate store products and visual merchandising for their ability to drive sales results. The Visual Merchandising Director also works with regional peers to develop tools, standards and workshops.
The Visual Merchandising Director reports to the Group Vice President, and travels to various stores based on your market. You’ll also enjoy competitive pay and a store discount.
